In Macbeth, a play by William Shakespeare, Banquos soliloquy at the beginning of the third bite explains some of his present whole step towards Macbeth. In the line, May they not be my oracles as well and sit me up in hope?, Banquo is saying that he wants the prophesies to come aline for him also and make him the king and the beginning of a gigantic line of kings.         The main idea of his soliloquy is that Banquo knows that Macbeth killed Duncan. curiously enough, this soliloquy is placed two scenes before he died, not giving him enough time to tell anyone else about his discovery.
